Abstract

The study investigates the relationship between age and environmental awareness among the
Tangkhul Nagas in Manipur, India. It emphasizes that environmental concerns are significantly
correlated with age, suggesting that younger individuals exhibit greater ecological awareness
compared to older generations. The research highlights the impact of generational experiences on
environmental attitudes, indicating that the decline in environmental concern with age may be
attributed to differing life experiences rather than age alone.
